How unreasonable would you have to be to not examine the text for historical accuracy.

Let me ask you this... for a man who claimed to be God, claimed to be the Son of God, claimed to not be from this world but to literally be a King from a different world, supposedly walked on water, healed people of various sorts of diseases, had an answer for every question posed to him, had the most dramatic impact on history (inc. the modern day calendar), had hundreds and thousands of disciples who died for their inability to denounce or forget about him, and also died not for any other crime but "blasphemy," of which his claim was that he was God... would you EXPECT a normal death where, oops... that's it. He finally made a mistake and got in over his head.

I strongly recommend to you this book:

"More Than A Carpenter," by Josh McDowell.

I disagree with approximately 95% of ALL modern world religions (certainly, INCLUDING Christianity); however, I challenge you... pick up the 5 dollar book and consider the facts for yourself.

People are so proud of claiming to be "seekers" and/or "intellects," but I tell you... that generally means that they seek only what they want to seek, and they think about only what lets them believe that they have "arrived."

Prove me wrong. Read the book.

Peace - B
