Reader comment on item: [The American Muslim Council:] 'Mainstream' Muslims?

Submitted by HI THERE (Australia), Sep 16, 2006 at 10:32

hello everybody, i was searching google and came across this website, after reading a few posts i had had enough, i am a palestinian muslim who lives in australia, and i have many christian and muslim friends, in my group, we are all of different cultures, bangladesh, greek, indian, lebanese, palestinian, phillipines, syrian and italian.

we all get along very well and we are all friends based on personality, not religion, most of us practice our religions and support each other, we do not preach to each other or so on. i do not understand how people can hold so much anger towards religions or nationalities, but i hope that other people get to know each other. and about the issue of terrorism, no religion preaches violence and anyone who does commit violence is a hypocrite of his/her religion. WE ONLY HAVE ONE LIFE AND WE SHOULD NOT WASTE IT HATING PEOPLE.
