Reader comment on item: [The American Muslim Council:] 'Mainstream' Muslims?
in response to reader comment: Why do I call my self Muslim

The assumption that the"West" wants to destroy, or even harm "Muslims" is an intuitive conclusion, but incorrect. The "West" wants to "Normalize" so called Muslims. Dead Muslims do not buy cars, build social infrastructures, homes,or buy coca cola. The last thing that the Capitalists want is a bunch of dead "Muslims", if they did you would be dead by now. The Western powers intend to defang the mythology, educate the masses of humanity who have internalized the mythology, and give them credit cards. It is not Muhammed that needs destroyed, but his "Sword". The challenge for believers and infidels is how many "Muslims" and others, will be killed to achieve this end.

One school of thought is that the internalization of the mythology itself produces a disordered persomality. The "Muslim Personality Disorder". Wherin the dogma of the mythology is contrary to the human psyche regarding preservation of the 'self' . This is a rationalization of the 'martyr complex', wherein access to the presence of the deity is restricted to the one who is killed in the cause of the mythology. This is seen as the cause of suicidal/homicidal ideation, dehumanizing of infidels, Jews, etc. paranoia, grandious thinking of world conquest, and the absence of empathy for others. If it turns out that the mythology is rendered impotent by the abrogation of violence, then the mythology will cease to exist, or exist in name only..

It is painfully obvious that the integration of the mythology into social structures is not possible. The oppression of the masses is simply too great. Anywhere the social order has been predicated on this mythology, we see oppression on a massive scale, brutality, beheadings, arbitrary and capricious laws, and mass hysteria contrived by the opressors for their own aggrandisement, whether it be cartoons, or any perceived insult.

It does no good to compare or contrast one mythology to another. Christians, Jews, Hindus, Muslims, Wicca, or Satanists bay 'believe' as they wish. None may offer or advocate human sacrifice for the advancement of the mythology.
