Some of My Fellow Muslims...

Reader comment on item: [The American Muslim Council:] 'Mainstream' Muslims?

Submitted by Nowshad (United States), Mar 21, 2006 at 19:40

I'm a Muslim and I think that those who bombed the WTC and the Pentagon are not Muslims. In the Qu'ran, it says that you should not murder. Those who idiotically took planes and suicide bombings are idiots who never read the Qu'ran in their life. I'm not saying that Muslims are bad (since I'm one).

I think because of Saddam or Bin Laden, the reputation of the Muslim world has been shattered. Muslims have done nothing to churches or synagogues or any other religious structures. Those who bombed the WTc and the other federal buildings are imbeciles who know nothing of Islam. Muslims don't do any sin. I can bet you my life, you won't see a Muslim man or woman drinking in a bar, doing pornography, having intercourse as fun and you don't see any Muslim common man murdering or raping anybody. Muslims NEVER and I mean NEVER take sexual intercourse as excitement such as the acts of eroticism and pornography.

We didn't hurt any other religion, we didn't go against any other religion. We are peaceful people who use peace in society. Many Muslim youths never get in fights or take drugs, alcoholics, etc. Muslim youths never even hear about crack, marijuana or cocaine when some other kids go blabbing out about these inappropriate option. Muslim youth always follow Ramadan and always do their prayers as we adults tell them to. We do not show them the components of a bomb nor a gun. And why is Denmark blaspheming Prophet Muhammed. We NEVER burn the Bible, we never made fun of Jesus Christ and we RESPECT Mary. Some people need to get their facts straight about Islam and the September 11th attacks.
