Every individual is different--do not generalize

in response to reader comment: Muslims

There are a sect of people in every religion-these people can be serial killers, rapists, drugdealers...and so on, and this goes on in US here by the local people.(I wont categorize as white, black or American as I am an American muslim as well) You should be careful in generalizing one label for a particular group. Again every religion will have deviant people.

Majority of the muslims in US are simple, hard working, educated people serving the community like all others. Islam teaches respect and care of your neighbour-A typical example is that if a muslim has a neighbour who did not have his meal secondary to poverty--The muslim is responsible for getting food over there-- or Allah will question him on the day of judgement. My dear friend-every human being is different. let them be of any race or culture and you wil be at loss if you GENERALIZE people--based on my experience.

I think there is far more important issues that need to be addressed in US--Education costs for children (typical undergrad in Duke, NC -costs 42K/year; when will the child pay off his loans after a 3 yr course, Issue of rising health costs-number of people w/o insurance, rising gas prices (50% in it is taxes) and the list goes on and on. I feel that everyone here is smart enough to understand these problems and attention should be paid to this- rather than debating about a particular community. I hope you research more about Islam and get to learn more about its benefits and hopefully be guided to the straight path.
