Reader comment on item: [The American Muslim Council:] 'Mainstream' Muslims?

Submitted by Proud Christian American (United States), Oct 15, 2005 at 01:55

Islam is not a bad religion, and i wont ever say that it is. The problem is the people in this middle eastern countries are poor and un-educated. they do not know what is really going on in the world... the men who join these islamic terrorist groups hear what the people of higher power in the group are telling them and believe it because they do not know any better. Unlike us who have grown up in a country where we are able to think for ourselves.

The men of higher power in these groups on the other hand know what they are doing. They are power hungry and want to eventually take over the world and while doing so destroy the united states (in Abu Muhammeds words ' the kingdom of satan'). PEOPLE LISTEN, THEY ARE A BUNCH OF ...WHO ARE LIVING IN THE PAST AND CANNOT LOOK TO ACCEPT DEMOCRACY! so do not bash on the islamic religion because in every religion there is a bad bunch of people.
