Islam is not an Arab national religion. Only 14% of muslims are arab. Read my other posts and you will see that I am not some blind apologist.

I am not afraid to visit "the middle east", just parts of it. In fact I have only this year.

How "civilised" is our culture (I presume you are also a "westerner")? How many scores of millions were killed in two world wars? How civilised is it to saturation bomb occupied nations specifically targetting where their workers live (not munitions factories here, but HOMES) like the British did to my father's home town of Eindhoven? How civilised is it to have a economic system that has killed off close to 1,000,000,000 people in a single century (example: Ethopian lentils for sale in our supermarkets at height of "famine" as if it is just a natural disaster), that far outstrips the atrocities of the so called communist states and their alleged toll of 100,000,000. Yes as western capitalist cronies most muslim states are complicit in that too, but they don't engineer it. How civilised is our culture when we can stand by and profit whilst arming the perpetrators and training their death squads as Australia did watching the biggest genocide since the Nazi assault on European Jewery per capita perpetrated by Indonesian facist dictator Suharto in East Timor? There is reason to accuse US policy for triggering the genocide of Pol Pot... the list goes on. It wasn't Muslims that starved over one million Irish in the nineteenth century to death, and saw one million more emmigrate (many of whom died trying), it was an economic and political system. 80% depopulation in five years in the town where my mothers family is from.

Find me similar "civilised" mass murders that Islam is responsible for in the twentieth and twenty first centuries.
