Reader comment on item: [The American Muslim Council:] 'Mainstream' Muslims?
in response to reader comment: no problem

I can assure you, I shall call religion anything I choose to call it. I and other American veterans did not fight to defend the Constitution and the rights guaranteed therein to be intimidated by words on a computer screen

It must be strange indeed for those dedicated to a mythology based on the abnormal psychology of self destruction to understand the notion of individual rights to speak, publish, worship any 'mythology' one wishes. The pathetic attempts of intimidation and efforts to silence those who have come to understand and bring rational thought to the mythology of a demented Arab of the 5th century, who , through a fog of mania and depression and frustration, exulted 'martyrdom' ie the taking of numan life, as the single path to communion with his deity are seen for what they are.

As for lacking the compulsion to attack Christians and Jews, and "Smash their heads or shoot them" would of course, violate the veneer of the mythology. However ,if the instinct of self presevation is overcome, killing ones self in the effort may have enter your mind, as it has for many who are so disposed to the myhthology of the 'House of Martyrs'

It seems you 'Protest too much' What harm to your belief if others call it a 'Myth' 'cult' or whatever. It is your belief, not mine. By demonstrating outrage, anger, insult, you simply confirm the symptomology of "Muslim Personality Disorder" Seek the counsel of someone not emotionally invested in the mythology, and try to find some balance. The path you are on will lead to no good.
