Hello dhimmi,

Although Muhammad (sws) was born in pagans, but he never had been pagan. In fact, his father was Mohid (monotheist) and his name was Abdullah, meaning the servant of God..

Second thing, Jews and Christians are later deviation from Islam. God never gave Jews, Judaism or Christian Christianity, He gave them Islam but they corrupted that Islam.

Islam means submission to God's will. A Muslim is a person, for whom, God's Will take priority over his own Will.

All the past prophets came with the message of Islam, they asked their people, to give priority to God's will and submit themselves in front of God.

For example, in one verse of Bible, Jesus (pbuh) says something like

"I seek Thou will, not my will"

The second name of seeking God's will instead of one's own is Islam.

In the same way, Abraham was neither Jew nor Christian, he was the one who submitted his will to God's will, mean he was Muslim.

Quran [3:65-67]

O People of the Book! why do you dispute about Abraham, seeing that the Torah and the Gospel were not sent down but after him? Do you not understand?(65)

Ha, you are the ones who disputed on that you had some knowledge of, but why do you dispute on that you have no knowledge of? God knows but you do not know.(66)

Abraham was not a Jew, nor a Christian, but one devout and obedient; and he was not of the idolaters.(67)

Finally, Islam is Deen-ul-Fitrah, it means, Islam is a way of living one's life which God has inspired in every child in his nature.

That's why Prophet (sws) said.

"Every newly-born child is Muslim because he is born on his nature, it is later his parents converted him to their religion"
