Reader comment on item: Bolstering Moderate Muslims
in response to reader comment: one sided fascists

There is a fundemental flaw in islam that forces moslems to be at loggerheads with the rest of the world. Accept it. Islam doesn't have to be debased, it is base enough.

Israel did not begin the war. Arabs started the war in the hope of wiping out Israel. Even the recent war was sparked off by iranian backed Hezbollah. When palestinian kids grow big enough to lift things they throw stones at the Israelis, when they grow bigger they blow themselves up. Israel will shoot children as long as her children are shot at.

Why dont moslems question the death of hundreds of moslems every week killed by moslem Iraqi terrorists ? Why didn't they question when Iran and Iraq fought each other? Moslem countries were busy taking sides. No mollah questioned when mojahadeen were swept away by Pakistani backed taliban. Or when millions of Bangladeshis were masaccared by Pakistanis. No mollah is bothered about the self proclaimed arab janjaweed polishing off black moslems in sudan. Not to speak about the terrorism, religious persecutions and killing of non moslems.

Moslems have to look at the other side and ask the question WHY? Why are moslems closed to reason ?Why is islam incompatible with the rest of the world. Fascists are always one sided just like mollas. Perhaps that is the only ideology that can match the intolerance and idiosyncraciness of islam, because it does have any moral compunctions that democracy suffers from. Instead of being defensive just look within you. If you look hard the answers wont be hard to come. The blame may lie at your doorstep.
