Reader comment on item: Bolstering Moderate Muslims
in response to reader comment: can sword change the heart of the people?

Submitted by moderate Muslim 1 (United States), May 1, 2007 at 18:15

to be fair, a large number of reverts (converts) joined Islam after 9/11 in America. Not because they liked what happened, but because they read the Quran to see why the terrorists did what they did, and realized that the terrorists werent practicing Islam. I am not saying that therefore 9/11 was good. Obviously it is horrible and sincerely a horrible thing, but many people became Muslim in America because of the exposure (mostly negative) that Islam recieved.

I could say that Islam is the fastest growing religion in America, but that would be true, and Noah thinks I can only lie.
