"So far, the west did nothing to protect us or encourage us to come and speak out. It is ironic that Islamic fundamentalists have been encouraged not only by the Saudi money but also by the western system. Many Muslim radicals, probably all of them, do not even bother to seek employment in the west because they do not need to, and dedicate their time to preach hate."

I know a couple of persons like in you in Europe, some are not really agnostic of muslim culture, but are capable to pick only the positive spiritual elements of the long islamic tradition and are therefore compatible with modernity and the West.

And your analysis is totally correct, some European countries have let the islamic fundamentalists do almost everything they wanted, one of the main reasons being the inflow of Saudi petrodollars (as well as from other islamic countries) and their influence on political and cultural institutions. The other main reason is that Europe is at the moment partially DECADENT, many people are influenced by cultural relativism, they cannot properly judge the good and the evil, and see the Western civilization as responsible substantially for all the disasters and problems of the world.

On the other hand the past American administrations have not been free from mistakes, due to the gigantic influence of the oil economy, and it is conforting to see that America has finally decided to develop other sources of energy and to move partially away from the oil economy.

Best regards to all from Europe and all my sympathy to the American people for the recent Virginia disaster.
