Reader comment on item: Bolstering Moderate Muslims
in response to reader comment: The utter irrelevance of the recent protests and why they are misleading

Noah, you concluded in yiour post: "So there you have it. The protests are irrelevant and meaningless, while those who point to the protests as proof of a "moderate movement" in Islam are ...presenting it in a totally misleading manner."

I totally agree with your arguments that these protests are utterly meaningless to conclude that "a vast majority of muslims are peaceloving and against sharia law". If these protests have any significance for the entire worldwide Muslim population, then why is it that Muslims living in the West do not show any such inclination. On the contrary, the protest marches in UK last year showed the protestors to support the terrorists with signs like kill all those who insult Islam, etc, etc.

As usual, the West and its "experts" live in the fantasyland and keep hoping that the "mythical" and non-existant "moderate" Muslims will lead Islam out of its murderous past, present and future.
