Our dear Shakeel rabina yushakil halak akthar wa akthar

You wrote Q2:143

>Thus we have apponited you as a Middle Nation that ye may be witness over mankind and that the messenger may be a witness over yourselves....."

Right? And your source is Pickthall? Why did you not tell us that the source of this poor translation is Pickthall? I call this plagiarism!

Now let us read the aya and see if it says anything about the Middle Path

1. wa kadhalika means and thus

2. ja3alnakum means or we make you (notice the grammatical aspect as ja3alnakum is the past tense of naj3alkum)

3. ummatan means nation (notice that based on Q4:14 Allah is talking about Muhammad and his nation the Hijazi Arabs)

4. wwasataa or middle (Dawood whose mother tongue was Arabic reads this word as Just. I can see why he did use the word just although the clear root of the word is WST)

5. litakunu means so you will be

6. shuhada' means wintnesses

7. 3ala al-nasi means upon the people (The word nas means people and no it does not mean man kind. mankind means al-bashar and this is not what the aya says. Poor translation indeed)

8. wa yakuuna means and will be

9. al-rasul means the prophet

10. 3alaikum shahidan means upon you witness

So your Allah is saying:

And thus we make you a nation in the middle (notice Dawood translation of waasataa as just) so you will be witnesses upon the people and the prophet will be a witness upon you

Notice the following:

1. This is another Quranic allusion that has no meaning and no this ain't the Buddhist doctrine of the Middle Path. Wrong religion. Just read the rest of the aya it has no meaning at all.

2. Now: If you read Q28:75 your Allah is saying: wa naza3na min kuli umatin shahidan or :and we pulled out a witness from every nation" this means that Muhammad is supposed to be the shahidan for his people the Hijazi Arabs and not of Pakistanis like you. Now read Q2:143 one more time. Your Allah is saying that the prophet whoever he is is a shahid for his nation (umma) and his umma is a witness for the people and not mankind.

3. Now to make it more confusing your Allah is saying that in the case of Muhammad's umma its members become the witnesses for the people whatever that is and this means the your Allah elected all of Muhammad's nation or the Hijazi Arabs to be prophets (see Q28:75) ! Congratulations our dear Shakeel the Hijazi Arabs are also prophets. Scary indeed. So much for the poor theology of the Qur'an!

And so who is really your shahid or witness or prophet because he ain't Muhammad who was sent only to his umma/nas or the hijazi Arabs!.

Your translation and your reading of the aya is bogus. Now you tell us ya ayuha al-faylasoof al-kabeer why should we believe you and your web site? Good luck next time.
