To Shakeel: Satanic LawReader comment on item: Bolstering Moderate Muslims Submitted by Plato (United Arab Emirates), May 16, 2007 at 05:16 Shakeel, are you sure you are not talking of Shaitan here. Most people, at least non-Muslims, expect kindness, mercy, not destruction from God. Try to pull yourself out of your religion induced haze and look at what you have written again. You call a law divine that requires the destruction of whole nations and peoples for opposing some madcap in their midst who gets up and says that he is a Rasool and they better obey him? This 'divine' law requires men, women and babies in arms to be killed by drowning, fires, earthquakes or whatever. Shakeel can you not differentiate between a divine and a satanic law? Sane humans, not zombies programmed by the Koran, shudder at the punishment prescribed by the merciful Allah for causing disorder. Who except Shaitan could have thought up a punishment that calls for sawing off limbs on opposite sides? And then after laying down this satanic law He has the chutzpah to declare that He is forgiving, merciful!
