Support for moderate muslims?

Reader comment on item: Bolstering Moderate Muslims

Submitted by Henk Twerda (Netherlands), Apr 17, 2007 at 11:38

Is support for moderate Islam not going to be at the expense of Christianity? I think that the support for moderate Islam should not be less than the support for Christians.

Why does Daniel Pipes speak with entiousiasm about Ayaan Hirsi Ali, but does he never mention Walid Shoebat?

Daniel Pipes replies:

Christianity: No, this will not be at its expense.

Shoebat: He deals with the Arab-Israeli conflict, not radical Islam, so is not part of this particular discussion. That said, I have praised him at http://www.danielpipes.org/blog/17.
