I think in 1938 &39 american pilots were bombing the japs as they were slaughtering the unarmed people of china. when i say slaughtering, i mean it..

then there's the statment about germany, Italy, france, etc. If what my father told us is correct (he was there) he said the american military was committed to the marshall plan. we stayed in europe for ten years rebuilding it. it was all about not wanting to repeat the same plan the europeans put into play after WW I.......

then theres the comment about colonialism... i am pretty sure that it was europe that ended slavery in europe then sent all non european peoples back to their own countries, under their rule, in other words made them slaves in their own country, all the time patting themselves on the back for ridding themselves of putting people in bondage. well, i guess it looked good, under the surface they were gulity of something much worse, enslaving people in their own country.

one thing i know for sure, america colonized africa. we purchased liberia so if any slaves wanted to return to their homeland, they could, and start their own govt. if anything, america has gone out of her way to do the right thing, admitting past wrongs.

it would be nice if germany would do the same....
