MODERATE MUSLIMS DO NOT EXIST

Reader comment on item: Bolstering Moderate Muslims

Submitted by RAJAGOPALAN (India), Apr 18, 2007 at 09:49

Moderate Muslims just do not exist. After all, Islam is a religion of extremes. Either a person is a muslim, which enjoins upon him the obligation of armed jihad, or he is a kafir only to be killed.

"Moderate muslims" aredent followers of Islam, and they do not have any commitment to religious freedom of others. Moderate muslims do not however show total commitment to the violence unleashed as jihad, because they do have worldly interests which they cannot afford to damage. Which is why the poorer sections among the muslims generally do the dirty "field work" associated with terrorism and violence. Also, the "moderate muslims " are among the apt fence sitters, tacitly and sometimes even openly praising jihad, and mostly reluctantly condemning terrorism.

Any "moderate" dose of cyanide or a "moderate" level of cancer ? Islam is as caustic as cyanide or cancer, and any "moderate" presence of it is equally lethal.
