Sure, it's an easy answer when you don't need to worry about dealing with reality. How does Dr. Pipes propose that we stop sending the Saudis billions of dollars? America gets something like 15% of its oil from the Saudis. Saudi Arabia is the single largest oil producer/exporter in the world. What, we're just going to stop buying oil from the, just like that? Talk about reality disconnect!

Let's face it. The Saudis are never going to release their stranglehold on oil, and if we remove the Saud family, then the overt radicals (as opposed to the covert Saudi radicals) will take over and we won't see any oil coming from them. The only solution would be to invade, conquer and annex Saudi Arabia. And we all know how likely that is!
