Dear Lucy ,

Thank you very much for sharing your personal recollections and feelings about the tragic events of the summer of 1974 with us. I find them very moving and direct. I hope that all your family remaining in Cyprus at that time escaped the Turkish hordes.

I'd also like to believe that justice will prevail one day and that Turkish armed robberies and barbarity will be duly punished. But experience teaches that nothing is given back by these barbarians without a tough fight .
