TURKEY AND CYPRUS

Reader comment on item: Turkey in Cyprus vs. Israel in Gaza

Submitted by Ilene Richman (United States), Jul 20, 2010 at 09:35

I read that the European Union was meeting with the PA. I drafted a long note to EU telling them to look into other matters beside the terrorist Palestinians (who named a street after a terrorist). There are many more pressing matters in the world as Turkey and Cyprus, Turkey and the Kurds, Georgia and Russia, Kashmir between India and Pakistan and properties claimed by other nations. EG: Northern Ireland and UK, the Falklands and the UK, Gibralter and the UK, Gibralter and Spain, Lebanon and Syria.

In other words, I let the EU nations know that the PA and Gaza can be well handled by the Israelis. Another way of saying it, is " butt out". This is not the most important issue in the world. What about the Sunnis killing the Shiis and vice-versa? Osama Bin Laden and his capture? Terrorist suicide bombs that may be planted in the US as US does not pay attention to its southwestern border in which members of Al Qaeda can enter. I do not know when this will happen but I know it will happen.
