All of Israel is an open air prison

Reader comment on item: Turkey in Cyprus vs. Israel in Gaza

A prison is an enclosed structure keeping all but the licensed in and keeping all but the licensed out.

Let us look at Israel. Border with Egypt is closed except for a narrow exit to terrorist filled sinai. Border to Jordan is hostile to Jews. Border to Syria is closed tight, border to Lebanon is closed tight. Finally there is the Mediterranean, for those who can swim or who own yachts (I dont) or those who can fly by flapping their ears or own planes (I dont). Does Israel qualify as a Prison?

Technically it is. Its a ghetto, excpet that voluntary prison/ghtto is peopled by Jews who are armed sufficinetly to protect their self-made prison, their small gated community which everybody and their sister, it seems, wants to crash into because... its Jewish.

As for Gaza. it has the same access to the sea as Israel, outward bound. It has 12 KM long border with Egypt, a country with which Gaza shares language, culture, religion and the fervent wish to kill the Jews. What Gaza is , is a full service boot camp for Jihadis, financed by the world community, fron cradle to grave, in the mistaken hope that if they keep hacking at Israel, they will refrain f rom hacking at the hand that feeds them. Bad mistake. Israel will tolerate only so much and in the end all those Jihadis born and bred on American tax payer's expense will go to haunt Europe and America.
