Lazman,

I was going to address your feverish propaganda efforts as well. You force me to speed up my response. So let me address now just one of your glib statements :

> YET, with all that emotional outcry, and I repeat, in your nearly 10,000 words, you have not mentioned even once the words Greek dictatorship, junta, enosis, or Sampson the key ingredients for the Greek Cypriot debacle in 1974, resulting in the Turkish invasion of the island. Yes, keep telling yourself otherwise.<

I did it for a very important reason. They played not the role you in your ignorance ascribe them and which conveniently enough whitewashes the Turks but were just puppets whose movements were staged and coordinated from far away - Washington DC .

Let's inspect one curious declassified NATO document from Secretary-General of NATO Joseph Luns to Secretary of Defence J. Schlessinger ( signature n. SG/SD/WASHDC-12/526-D48/JULE74 reproduced and published here ) where the following message is transmitted :

" FROM: SECRETARY GENERAL
TO: SECRETARY OF DEFENCE/WASHDC

Subject: Assistant Undersecretary of State Sisco's visit,

The Assistant Undersecretary of state Sisco's visit to the Alliance, showed the decision of the American goverment to finish the Cyprus problem.
We agreed with Mr Sisco for supporting the Turkish army during the landing, as well as, in the violent expulsion of Makarios."

Now if you have ever worked with any original document , then reading it you have to admit that considering "the ... Greek dictatorship, junta, enosis, or Sampson the key ingredients for the Greek Cypriot debacle in 1974" looks mildly speaking very misleading and that consequently one must throw to the dustbin of historical lies one of the two things - either the original signed document or your quote and all it implies. What do you choose ?
