Dear Michael Kurtzig , you write :

" By the way. in Turkey, no you-Tube and I understand other manners of communication have been curtailed, phones tapped; so much for democracy. Time for the good Turkish citizens to throw out this fascist."

Actually, almost from the beginning Turkey was engineered by Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Pasha as a fascist state, not a democracy ! He ruled by a one-party system hanging or jailing the opposition leaders and persecuting any dissent . He banned trade unions and introduced extensive police control everywhere and forcibly imposed his personality cult which is such a distinctive feature of today's Turkey. So throwing out Erdogan cannot change much of this state's fascist nature as , given its vicious basic values and its past , it can't produce but repressive and perfidious politics as embodied now by Erdogan and earlier by Kemal.

As to banning YouTube in Turkey it seems to be a modest measure compared to the recent Turkish idea of a world-wide witch-hunting against all - including non-Turkish citizens- "insulters of Ataturk, Turkey and the country's flag".
