Reader comment on item: Turkey in Cyprus vs. Israel in Gaza
in response to reader comment: Anti-bigots and their "relief in converting temples into mosques"

Well, one has to admit when [he] is drawn, in fact compelled into a debate.

As an interpreter/Translator, I am somehow trained not to draw assumptions into anything and everything.

Or simply, I do not read minds! It is mouthful, isn't it?

But yet it is the case. I'd rather see and regard everything I encounter at face value.

For me, being called 'bigot' is not high honour. It is not even mild sarcasm. It is a serious charge.

Let me explain: If someone misspells your name, ethnicity, sense of belonging—It is wrong!

If someone assumes that –just because your ethnic people are Moslems- you are also a Moslem—It is stupid and wrong!

If someone attaches you to a frame- be it a religion, nationality that you do not belong, or an ideology—It is wrong!

If someone distorts your 'assumed religion' [like calling Bogomil --Dualist Christians] Pomaks as 'Christians'—It is evasive and wrong!

When without hard evidence [but convenience of the assumption of] you having been "forcibly converted"—It is wrong

If someone produces unconfirmed, out of the blue suggestions of; Napalm, 180,000 [which I never mentioned], and expects me to qualify them—It is wrong!

When a Pomak- [of Bulgarian, Slavonic origin, without any Alphabet, any written language, any Turkishness or Greekness, so to speak [or any support from the Turkish government-you Mug! ] is accused of being the fifth column, reacting strongly- It is not wrong at all, it is right!

When all the religions in Turkey receive the same treatment [being ignored by the Government and being funded by their own communities or the states abroad] suggesting that Pomaks being the 5th Column- It is wrong and grotesque!

When someone is immersed with hatred and does not even see that in fact his adversary says something very similar but in a different tone, and still goes on in his ravings—It is futile!

When someone simply and openly states that [he] is an Atheist, hence does not give excrement to religious dogma, but still is being accused of being Mujahid, Fedai, etc—It is wrong!

When, whilst the subject of the debate is to do with "Turkey v.s. Israel", a small minded man [whether in stature or mind, who gives a food] interjects and dictates his small agenda- It is wrong!

I strongly believe that in their [their!!,see! not mine, but their... You mug!] extreme nationalism Turks created a similar Kurdish Nationalism, and they suffer as a result.

So did Cypriot bigots! Whether Asil Nadir or the Greek Cypriots who enjoy international aid but do not share it with the population in the north, hence condemning them to mainland Turkish Domination or poverty- It is wrong!

I think second wave of the Turkish assault on Cyprus was noty justified. Because the first assault fulfilled the task of guarantorship and the fascist Sampson was kicked out.

So the action should've been stalled there.

But I also think that Greek Cypriots unfairly choked Turkish part for their own sins. Despite recent attempts on the Turkish side, Greeks acted in vengeance and greed [not to allow Turkish part to prosper— Again, wrong and stupid]

Our Narcissus Ianus suffers from the same ailment.

Ianus [ Yanuş?) is an extremist Cypriotist!

I have to admit, he is eloquent, but it is not an excuse for bigotry!

I could go on, but I do not want to give him the satisfaction of attention.

There are other unanswered issues, like Mongols, mosques, Tatars, Stalin, so much more. But the poor man is desperate to attract attention. He is throwing issues all over the place. Like an old retired man or woman, not having anybody to talk at home and chatting up with the bank clerk, wasting your time...

I will not honour him by responding to them all...

Poor small [minded] man!
