DNM and Ianus
What makes you such demagogues ,cartoon characters and purveyors of mindless hate which may influence some unstable people as Breivik ,is your utterly one sided ,black and white view of history.You are the flip side of the taliban. You might be believable if you were more even handed. Can we expect from you such posts as;
1 The destruction of the Crimean Tartars and stealing their land.
2 The destruction of the Circassians and stealing of their land
3 Genocides of the Balkan muslims latest of which was in 1990s
4 The colloboration of the minorities of Anatolia with the enemy with a view to eliminate the Turkish majority.See dairies of Russian officers WW1,Caucusus front.
5 Destruction of pagan heritage by the Christians see E Gibbon. DNM was shocked to read that a "muslim Turk" was worried about this. Yes I am ,so are millions of other Turks we are not all beardies you know.
You,yourself said that we are the descendants of ancient Anatolian peoples.Yes we are with some admixture of Central Asian blood.Does it matter now how our ancestors were converted.May be your own ancestors were converted forcibly. Maybe your ancestors were Arian monophisite heretics which were brutalised by the Byzantines.What does this prove,nothing ,just demagogy,nobody can choose their ancestors.
6 In the past we killed our enemies, they killed us, they stole our lands, nobody is entirely innocent.Armenians killed us we killed them. Nobody is denying these,our government members officially say that terrible things happened in 1915 to Armenians.Can we expect the Russians to return the Caucasus to us so that millions of Circassians in Turkey can resettle there? Main mistake the Armenians made was they tried to rule the moslem majority lands of eastern Turkey, minority cannot rule majority.
