turks are the the loneliest people of earth

Reader comment on item: Does Turkey Still Belong in NATO?

Submitted by havas (Turkey), Oct 15, 2009 at 02:01

western people dont like us, because we are muslims.in eu we are the most hated people. they defend armenian genocide not that they really believe it happened, but only because armenians are christians. we all know that it was a civil war and similar things happened to greeks in anatolia and to turks in balkans, crimia and caucasia.

arabs dont like us,because we follow different life and islamic belief.in reality we are far more strongly attached to islam than any people on earth because of historical reasons.arab dictators dont want to see any muslim country with democracy, whose people can be muslim but also free and modern.

although we consider them as our real brothers, asian turcics are geographicly far away and culturally very different to us and they are more russias allies.

israel dont like us, she wants to obey them just like all the arabs dictators . we cant accept at the same time the legal existence of israel, dont feel any hostility against their people but strongly condems the attacks against poor phalestainian civilians.than we become anti jews, pro talibans.

so we are very lonely people and we certainly dont belong to nato or islamic organisations or any other thing.

or maybe we belong to everywhere. who knows...
