REMOVE TURKEY FROM NATO

Reader comment on item: Does Turkey Still Belong in NATO?

Turkey and Brazil are allied with Iran. They invited the Iranian president to visit Turkey. All three held up hands together. Maybe I do not see well but I interpret that as a sign of a great alliance and friendship. The Turkish government sent 7 ships to Gaza that were not humanitarian ships. Six turned back. On board the seventh ship were murderers and terrorists set to attack the Israeli seals when Turkey tried to break the blockade to Gaza. These holligans had pipes, broken bottles, bats and other objects to attack the Israelis. Again I am not seeing well but the Israeli seals were attacked with these murderous objects. Two of the seals were injured very badly. Due to this attack on the Israeli seals, the Israelis killed nine of the terrorists when the terrorists attacked with destructive objects . I do not think that is a sign of friendship to the Israelis.

Turkey forbid President Bush from launching attacks on Iraq from the Turkish air bases. Maybe I am not reading correctly but this does not seem like a sign of friendship. Turkey has butchered the Kurds who want to separate from Turkey. That is not very nice. Turkey has now aligned itself with the Islamic governments in the Middle East. Therefore, I believe NATO should remove Turkey as an ally as Turkey's new ally is the Islamic terrorist movement.
