Reader comment on item: Does Turkey Still Belong in NATO?
in response to reader comment: Nato has not developed security philosophy against Islamic threat

Islam was once confined to 2 big empires, Ottoman and Indian. Since the first world war when Ottoman Empire begin to scramble Islam can now be seen divided or distributed in more than 30 different countries. The problem is not confined to a single state but many different Islamic states.

Since last few decades any Islamic country beginning to gain some power became the most targeted threat for the enemies of Islam. Iraq's example is visible when the country is now turned to rubble and thrown into perpetual unrest. What would you call it...the gift of curse of freedom from Saddam. Iran's turn may come in last but now the prime target is Pakistan which is showing signs of bending to its knees in front of aggression initiated by the Americans and now Indians (behind the curtains). My hopes are alive that soon the table would be turned and the hopes which many anti Islamic forces are knitting would be broken.

Turkey, I bet is the country which would soon show an outburst to continuous aggression against Islam. NATO's life would be mere 5 to 6 years because the adventure in Afghanistan and Pakistan would take this association into an eternal end. The purposeless wars have made NATO a hated figure in Afghanistan. Pakistan too is suffering from terrifying failures of USA and NATO in Afghanistan. But I believe that things would soon take shape when we will see the demise of NATO due to economic melt down of United States which I believe would be very quick but painful.

I am seeing Europe as a new World leader along with China which will turn this world again to a safe heaven rather than Jewish + American's blood thirsty alliance.
