in response to reader comment: who is responsible for violence

Submitted by TruthWFree (United States), Jun 1, 2009 at 18:53

BERKA AKK,

Animalistic violence is one thing. Most do it to eat in the food chain. Both Jesus' teachings and Muhammad's teachings applied to humans.

Jesus preaches love and forgiveness, Muhammad preaches hatred and killing of non believers.

It is because of these teachings of Christ that Christian charities help less fortunate people around the world, that countles Christian hospitals are built to help the sick, and countless schools are built to help educate people so that they can help themselves.

Suffering is part of the human lot, but Christ taught us to help those less fortunate regardless of their status in life. Muhammad's teachings of violence against non believers of his religion have been the source of sufferings for a large number of people and it continues today.
