fanatism

Dear Taygun,

There are some fanatics everywhere. And if one is fanatic he needs enemies. These people here insult to us, Turks which they know nothing about and this way they feel important.

Unimportant people feel elevated only this way.

These here ofcourse represent only some of the Americans.

Once I had listened to a priest on the TV in USA. He had talked a complete hour about how secular Turkey was and how any non-Mouslim had never had any problem in Turkey etc. This was before the second Gulf War. When we did not agree to participate in Gulf war, everything changed immediately. I am sure these days no priest is talking like this on TV.

It had been and will always be like this. If you agree with them they love you, once you do not they hate you.

It is so simple.
