The difference between "these people" who "know nothing" about Turks and you who know so much about them is that in their comments they refer to facts, numbers, dates, names, express opinions rationally arrived at while in yours there is nothing but rant, silly slogans, empty phrases, declamations, trite repetitions, moralizing generalities, unsubstantiated claims. In short, you excel in everything for which no knowledge and rationality are required. Isn't that insulting ?

He had talked a complete hour about how secular Turkey was and how any non-Mouslim had never had any problem in Turkey etc. This was before the second Gulf War. When we did not agree to participate in Gulf war, everything changed immediately. I am sure these days no priest is talking like this on TV.<

Maybe these priests have at last watched some documentary on Armenian and Greek genocides or have visited the macabre ruins of the ancient medieval churches, monsteries and Christian cemeteries in Northern Cyprus wantonly destroyed and looted by great Kemalist 'secularists' ?

You clearly project your own narcissist Turkish mind onto others. The Turks - these self-appointed creators of all civilizations and masters of all races - can't stand the slightest criticism. The tiniest inconvenient truth is an "insult" to their perverted Turkish superego.
