ISLAM STANDS FOR PEACE NOT FOR VIOLENCE

in response to reader comment: muslims changing ? ?

Islam stands for peace. There is no radical Islam. If someone really want to study Islam, he must study the Holy Quran which clearly speaks about peace for humankind and says that killing of a single person is equal to killing of all humanity. If some people are involved in Terrorist activities and using the name of Islam, it does not mean that Islam promotes terror & violence. What about Hitler who killed thousands of people. Was he muslim? What about Tamil Tigers in Srilanka who invented suicidal attacks. Are they muslim? Similarly 9/11 case is not yet confirmed, USAMA is still PRIME SUSPECT and people talking high about "Insider job". On the other hand what do you say about killing of thousands of innocent people in Afghanistan & Iraq. Can anyone justify such killings? Were those killings for the betterment of humankind? We should not link Terrorism & Violence with a religion.

Actually, people get convinced by the media war against Islam. If an old Arab Muslim marries with a young girl, it becomes a big news but thousands of innocent girls are being raped in USA nobody cares.

No true muslim preach hate and anger. If someone does it, he must be doing that for his own vested interest. People take things out of context and malign Islam. One must study the sacred scripture of a religion before taking any decision. God sent his last messenger prophet Muhammad for the whole mankind not only for muslims and the holy Quran is instruction manual for the whole mankind till the end of the world. God has shown us true path and has given us choice whether to accept or reject. In Quran (102) God has told us clearly that:

1. The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things for this world) diverts you (from the more serious things).

2. Until ye visit the graves

3. But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality)

4. Again, ye soon shall know!

5. Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind (ye would beware!)

6. Ye shall certainly see Hell fire!

7. Again, ye shall see it with certainty of sight!

8. Then, shall ye be questioned that Day about the joy (ye indulged in!).

God Himself has promised to guard the Qur'an

"We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly Guard it (from corruption)."
[Al-Qur'an 15:9]

Life is too short, we must check authenticity of our faith whatever we have before we regret.

May God show us right path………..Aameen
