Islam "peaceful"?

Reader comment on item: Islam's Future [Can Be Modern]

I hear so much about Islam being the fastest growing religion in the West. That, unfortunately, is probably true (though I think the numbers are hugely inflated), but how do they accomplish it? Do they accomplish it by telling only the truth or by telling lies when the facts don't suit them. Islamist's make many claims about Jesus as he is presented by the Bible, however, they tell prospective converts only what suits them and their religious beliefs. They ignore the vast weight of evidence: everything else Jesus said about himself and what others at the time believed of him.

Unfortunately most Christians aren't intimately aquainted with their Bibles and are looking for someone else to lead them around in a confusing world. Most people are not leaders; they are followers. Islamists told the American Indians (just as they have the Asians , Africans and others) that they were formerly Muslims ignoring both history and the facts on the ground. For instance, their are. no ancient Muslim or Arabic or Islamic archeological finds in America, only paleo-Hebraic ones like the finds of Los Lunas; why is that?

The answer is that the ten tribes of Israel were scattered to every nation upon the earth. Even Ishmael once spoke the exact same language as did Isaac. They ignore the similarites between the Hebrew and Arabic simply stamping Hebraic words with "Arabic" or "Islamic"/ Truth doesn't fit their beliefs, so any truth that doesn't fit their desired result is totally left out. Muhammad never went to Jerusalem? No problem, Arab Islamists don't want little democraitc Israel in "their Middle East" sea of despots and regal rulers: no problem Muhammad must have been whisked there "spiritually".

Christians have been and are fair game in the contant Islamist attacks upon their beliefs, however, if Christians tell Muslims what they think of their so called prophet or their absurdly ritualized religion they act as if the act of insulting one's religious beliefs were created by us. Islam as taught by most Islamists today is NOT a "peaceful" religion; it is being used a useful Israeli Jew hating political tool for a small 'kingly' state and other Jew hating bigots to try to even up things with the one powerful nation of this current time that it can't hope to compete with any other way.

I don't see masses of Jews, Hindus or Christians trying to kill me or my religuous brethren and overtake my country with terrorism. I do see masses of Islamics trying to do it and those are my enemies whether President Bush labels the religion itself as "peaceful" or not. Zuwar Isma'il an Iraqi Kurd was killed by Islamists because he wouldn't renounce his Christian faith and return to Islam; this same scenario is repeated in numerous Islamic nations across the world. While Muslims cry "persecution", it is Christians who are being murdered in the tens of thousands across the world. No Islamists ares not my friends, they are my enemy and my enemy is not "peaceful" even though there are some Muslims who are peaceful. I have found approximately 4 Muslims who don't hate Jews including Israeli's, since I started intensely looking for them post 9/11. As long as they ("moderate" Islamists) sit silent telling the world they are the victims whilst their religious brothers are murdering us, they are not in the category labeled: friends.
