Misinterpretation

Reader comment on item: Islam's Future [Can Be Modern]
in response to reader comment: islam, shairah, evil and usa.....what it really means

Submitted by Mohammed (South Africa), Jul 22, 2006 at 04:42

I am a muslim from the south of Africa. Firstly the comments on http://www.deceptioninthechurch.com/koran.html are taken as individual phrases and not set in the context of what phrases are referring to. also the verses are not written in normal language and are not easily understandable to many people which may lead to misinterpretatation. I believe this is what is happening in this instance. If you would like to really know what the verses mean then speak to a muslim scholar who will explain them to you, and the context in which they fall.

The Koran has not been changed as the years have passed and this has been achieved by people who memorise and practice the koran. It is vital importance not to revise the Koran and also no one has the authority to do so. People however who are against islam have tried to change the koran and produce fake copies thus guiding individuals wrongly on the sayings of the Koran.

Thank you
