Reader comment on item: Islam's Future [Can Be Modern]
in response to reader comment: Christianity is more "fundamentalist" and "evil" than Islam

Submitted by the facts (United States), Jul 9, 2006 at 19:59

If a man has a Religion and does something bad, that doen't mean that the religion he believes in is bad. This holds to be true even if he has done something good it wouldn't mean that his religion is good. The fact is that a lot of people that called them-self Christians have done bad things, that means that as independent people they were bad. John wrote "Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of god; and every one that loveth is born of god, and knoweth god." (1 john 4:7). There is another part that declares that god is love and everything that is not love is not of god. (1 john 4:8). now let us look at the teachings of Islam, Mohammed claimed that godtold him to kill all the unbelievers. He also claimed that that same god told him to sleep with a 9 year old girl. I will admit that there is a lot of muslims that love others but that is not because they follow Islam, its just because they are good people and them being good doesn't make Islam good.

P.S.

Why would you follow a man that didn't even know if he was going to heaven when you could let the blood of Jesus wash your sins away and know your going to heaven. You see it because we are not able to make it in to Heaven under our own power, we are just not good enough. so the point being is that if we got judged by our deeds we would all go to hell, Thank god that by Jesus we are able to be judged by grace and able to enter heaven.
