Understanding muslims will solve many problems

Reader comment on item: Islam's Future [Can Be Modern]

Submitted by Muhammad Shakeel Faiz (Pakistan), Dec 20, 2005 at 08:59

Jesus and Muhammad are Apostles of Allah in Islam. Allah is god of in Islam. Our Shahada is There is no deity except The Deity (Allah or God) and Muhammad is the servant and Apostle of The Deity.

Jesus says

Matthew 22
36: Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37: Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38: This is the first and great commandment.

So we love Allah more than everything else. Apostle enemies are in fact Allah's enemies.

All those who disrespect or disgrace Apostles of Allah like Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus or Muhammad are enemies of Allah.

We will never love and have no love or mercy for those who disrespect or disgrace Apostle Muhammad because after all, Allah is our first priority.

However those non-Muslims who respect our feelings for our Allah and for our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), we love them and we respect them too. And we have no problem what they worship because there is no compulsion in religions.

Apostle Muhammad said to Muslims:
"You cannot have faith in Allah, until you do not love me more than your father, mother, friends or any other human being"

Apostle Jesus said the same thing
"No one can cometh to God but by Son"

If non-Muslims want to have cordial relationships with Muslims they must understand our stance and our religious feelings. Otherwise, problems are not going to end but to increase.

We do not hate all non-Muslims. Because Quran says.
Surely the Believers, the Jews, the Christians and the Sabaeans, whoso believes in God and the Last Day and does righteous deeds, shall have their wage with their Lord, and no fear shall be on them, nor shall they grieve. (2:62)

Who are really Sabeans? No one knows this. So Sabeans refer to all those non-Muslims, which are neither Chrisitan nor Jews, they will also be rewarded for their righteousness and belief in Almighty God.

There are only four conditions in Islam for human salvation.

[Al-Quran Surah 103]

By the Age,(1)
Man is surely in loss,(2)
except those who believe and do righteous deeds, and exhort each other to truth, and exhort each other to patience.(3)

So Salvation=Belief +Righteous Deeds+ Truthfulness +Patience

Belief means any set of beliefs but Islam stresses people to believe in one god alone. There is no deity but Allah (The Deity)

Those who were addressed by Muhammad in his lifetime, it was compulsory for them to believe in the oneness of Allah and His Apostleship. Otherwise, they were to be killed or humiliated as Allah was killing the rejecters of Apostles before him like He killed the rejecters of Noah, Lot, Moses and Jesus.

But today everyone is free to choose his or her religion.

[Al-Quran Surah 109]

Say: O unbelievers, (1)
I serve not what you serve, (2)
Nor do you serve what I serve, (3)
Nor shall I serve what you are serving,(4)
Nor shall you be serving what I serve.(5)
To you your religion, and to me my religion. (6)

I hope you can understand muslim stances.
