How can we come close?

Reader comment on item: Islam's Future [Can Be Modern]

No verse is abrogated. Quran never abrogates itself, instead Quran says, for some situations, some verses gets more important.

In the time of peace, the peaceful verses of Quran will be promoted.

In the time of war, violent and aggressive verses will be promoted.

Today, we see wars more than peace, so it is the time, Muslims must promote the violent verses of Quran.

But once the peace will establish, Muslims must promote the peaceful verses of Quran.

So when enemy will relent, we will also relent. But if enemy will not relent, then we will also not relent.

"Fight in the cause of God those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for God loveth not transgressors. (The Noble Quran, 2:190)"

And we see, USA is against Shariah and is fighting the Muslims to bring westernization full of porn, sex, bar clubs and wine dens.

USA is the enemy of Allah, so being Muslims, we must fight against it but we must not transgress the limits.

Further, if USA can understand and stop the enmity with Allah, we will also be friends of USA.

After all, we are lovers of Allah first and everything else comes after that.

Even the Jesus said, Thou shall love God more than everything else. This is the greatest of all commandments.

I wish, the intellectuals of USA could understand us, so that both of us can come close.

"But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in God: for He is One that heareth and knoweth (all things). (The Noble Quran, 8:61)"
