Is Islam really peaceful

in response to reader comment: ISLAM STANDS FOR PEACE NOT FOR VIOLENCE

Submitted by NJ (United Kingdom), Aug 10, 2010 at 15:41

Daily i hear people go on and on and on, about just how peaceful Islam is and how everyone else gets it wrong and how we need to read the Qur'an.

Frankly i dont want to read the Qur'an, why because if Islam was truly peaceful, you would not ... kill innocent people for no bloody reason.

I could say i am Muslim till i am blue in the face, but the fact remains i am not a Muslim. Muslims need to stop claiming that Islam is peaceful. Its not.

You might say it was "but that"s IT --WAS". Today its nothing short of barbaric.
