Reader comment on item: Islam's Future [Can Be Modern]

Submitted by saima naeem (Switzerland), Mar 12, 2003 at 17:50

Muslims over hundreds of years have been persecuted for their beliefs and thoughts. Media is run by the western and anti-islamic zionists societies who continue to brainwash those who have already had the wool pulled over there eyes. Every day the death count for innocent muslims in Palestine, Afghanstan, Iraq and countless other countries rise and not a thing is ever done, rather it is ignored. How long will this go on before we all end up getting bombed off the face of the earth since thats the way its going.

Americans tend to see Islam as a violent religeon that causes death and hate for non -muslims- WRONG AGAIN!!!! A person who is arrogant and ignorant to ones belief is incapable of understanding the path in which Islam is taught so the only way to deal with this is obviously to seek knowledge in order to extinguish the "hate" that continues to grow for muslims. In addition to this maybe we should take a look at the violent nation among us, America has bombed and killed more innocent people then any other country in the world. It breeds ignorance and hate for anything remotley Islamic because it fears it.
