Dear Prashant,

Though I don't appreciate you calling me a representative of ignorance which I could say about you but because a lot of the people here believe that the western people are ignorants of the real facts and blind by the media but I like to call it misunderstanding although the truth is clear for whoever wants to see it. When I quote from the Quran I do so proudly indeed and if you are a christian you would quote from the bible all the same so focusing your comment on this and trying to deliver a message to the readers that how could someone with sense quote this (meaning the Quran verses) proudly is a not a good way of reaching an outcome of a conversation. My previous comment was meant as an answer for how people always accuse islam of provoking wars which is not true.

The title of your comment "not starting war" is not enough I agree but since you are from the US let's say that some other country launched a strike to you homeland. Will you say that we should forgive them and move on and it was only one strike??? of course not and by all means you should defend your land or it will happen again and again.

If I am to extract every verse of the Quran that commands us to show mercy, forgiveness and compassion it would take more than just this comment to present them for you and as it turns out you represent the misunderstanding of the western orientation and the best thing is to use the internet to know more about the Quran and islam before judging and I urge you not to take islam by what some muslims do because in fact there are christians and other religions believers who are worse than real terrorists but they are just not in the center of the media scope. And please try to convince the people around you of the concept "turn the other cheek" because as I see the statistics every year the crime rate is very high where you live.
