Aamir ali, you wrote to Sri Devi -

>>The idol worship is the most weakest type of religion because they fail to understand the basic concept that a man made idol cannot be thier creator..Allah in Quran dealt with such kind of beleivers with strong and valid points...

If they suggest that their big idols created this beautiful universe then why they themselves are so ugly...??? If they are really Gods then everyone on earth should be joyfull that they found their creator..(naozobillah)..They even fail to impress their followers...how can they impress others...<<

Aamir Ali you have heard the saying ‘people who live in glass houses should not throw stones at others'. Now let have a look at how thin and brittle the glass of your religion is. You have Gabriel flitting back and forth between heaven and earth communicating God's thoughts to a human. What kind of power does this god have if he cannot communicate his messages Himself? He also once came riding on a donkey wearing colourful brocade to urge the Prophet to massacre the Banu Quraiza. Everytime I read about Sualiman wanting to talk to the hoopie bird I hoot with laughter. Reading the hadith I have cut and pasted below always makes me whoop with laughter:

Bukhari Volume 1, Book 6, Number 315:

Narrated Anas bin Malik:

The Prophet said, "At every womb Allah appoints an angel who says, 'O Lord! A drop of semen, O Lord! A clot. O Lord! A little lump of flesh." Then if Allah wishes (to complete) its creation, the angel asks, (O Lord!) Will it be a male or female, a wretched or a blessed, and how much will his provision be? And what will his age be?' So all that is written while the child is still in the mother's womb."

Repeated in: Volume 8, Book 77, Number 594:, Volume 4, Book 55, Number 550,: Volume 8, Book 77, Number 594:

What do you think of the story of Mohammed taking off on Burak to confer with Allah and his fellow prophets or of the story of Moses changing walking sticks to serpents to frighten the Pharoah.

What then is so strange about idols creating the universe? If you think that idol worshippers think those physical idols sitting in their temples created the universe then you have no clue to what it is they are really worshipping.

Has it occurred to you that there are thousands of temples with different idols. Do you think the polytheists think that all those idols were responsible for creation?

The Koran itself says Safa and Marwa are symbols (read idols) of Allah. 002.158
YUSUFALI: Behold! Safa and Marwa are among the Symbols of Allah. So if those who visit the House in the Season or at other times, should compass them round, it is no sin in them. …

Why then cannot the polytheists worship idols as symbols of God??

Why do you genuflect five times a day towards a little black stone? Will it make any difference if you turned the other way. Or is Allah hiding in the Kaaba?? Has it occurred to you that whichever direction you turn you are really praying towards empty space as the earth is a sphere. But Allah thought the earth was flat so it is possible to turn towards his favourite piece of black rock. Can you hear the glass shattering after the rocks of reality struck home?

Before you sound off about idol worship study the religion of the idol-worshippers to understand why it is far superior to your faith with its lone god who has the Kaaba stone, and the Safa and Marwa peaks as his only symbols/signs. The polytheists have thousands of symbols and signs!

Regards
