Dear Shayna,

Thank you for your letter.

So many of the comments on this web-page contain Qur'an verses, I thought I'd acknowledge a couple from the Bible. Muslims are free to respond. 1st John 5:9 - If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater; for the testimony of God is this, that He has testified concerning His Son. 5:11 - And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 5:13 - These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.

The Word of God is alive and powerfull, sharper than any two-edged sword......................What increasingly surprises me is how the Qur'an takes parts of the Bible and either "tweakes" them or directly claims them as Allah's own. Abraham - in the Qur'an Hagar was a princess, in the Bible, she was a slave girl, and Ishmael was a bastard; the Qur'an is "perfect"; all religions - other than Islam - are man-made; Allah ensures that the Qur'an is protected.

Satan, according to the Bible, was created a genius. He sure seems to have the world's second largest religion fooled. Muslims have rejected the "Good News" of the Gospel of Christ. No miracle can change that; we have volition. It is sad that Muslims are confused. However, Satan is, as the Bible says, the "master of deceit". In the Bible, however, one of God's many promises states "seek Me and you shall find Me". Anyone who desires to know Him will have the opportunity.

Keep learning the Word of God. -Jennifer
