Unfortunately, no one can do this *for* Islam, and it is slowly conquering the world in its existing form. And now we have a more fundamentalist pope, as well, so Catholicism also is taking a step back. In addition, Christian evangelism, yet another fundamentalist interpretation, is spreading even among formerly less extreme protestant groups and has now branched off from its roots in America. New forms of old memes are spreading and it's still unclear how it will play out.

I do think the only way to stop governments from actually supporting it, however, is to stop church tax exemptions and all tax-payer funding of faith-based services and schools.
