The right to convert is one-way street in Islam!

Reader comment on item: Ban Islam?
in response to reader comment: Right to Convert

Submitted by R K Iyer (India), Aug 31, 2007 at 08:46

What good is the agreement between Islamic groups and Christian groups on mutual right to convert (as in Norway) when individual Muslims feel no guilt whatever in killing apostates? Muslims everywhere have been brainwashed into believing that it is their birthright to convert you to their faith but you shall not have a similar right to convert any of them. In India, Muslims converting to Hindu practices or to Christianity are routinely killed or they just disappear. As long as every Muslim believes in jihad against non-believers, there is no way civilized societies can expect to co-exist with Islam. R K Iyer
