Mr Clausen, you cannot pick and choose anything in Koran

Reader comment on item: Ban Islam?
in response to reader comment: A partial ban should be enough

Submitted by Romesh Chander (United States), Sep 3, 2007 at 21:24

Just talk to any muslim; I mean any muslim; I mean a 'moderate' muslim if you can find one. None of them will ever agree with you. In Islam, you can not pick and choose verses from Koran; it is all or nothing.

If we start discussing which verse to ban and which to retain, you will find that literally no verse will pass the 'peace' or 'inoffensive' test.

So, just ban Islam; Koran will end up in 'rare collection book' category.
