War propaganda

Reader comment on item: Ban Islam?

Actually, the Sura No. 9 and some other parts of Qur'an are nothing more than war propaganda the only purpose of which is to boost the morale of one's own troops and to instill the hatred towards enemy in the hearts of own troops and civilians. The use of dehumanizing labels of "monkeys and pigs", "kuffar" etc. is not unlike the use of "les Boches", "Krauter", "Japs", "yellow menace" etc. during WWI and WWII.

Yet fortunately for Europe and America, this was dismissed as not necessary as soon as the war was over. Unfortunately for Muslim countries and for the entire world, the Muslim war propaganda was elevated into God's word, maybe because the Caliphate was non-stop at war at least 130 years after its inception.
