Reader comment on item: Ban Islam?
in response to reader comment: Hamri Al-Assad -- why we should mock Mohammed?

America is a melting pot of civilizations. It is where people from all of over the world go to. To ban a religion like Islam is akin to banning Judaism or banning Hinduism. Do you guys not understand that terrorism is commited by extremists from many religions every day, and you guys only pay attention to the ones who do it nastily, not the ones who do it with the stroke of a pen.

If you ban Islam you ban freedom of religion. You ban the founding principles of this country. just because some angry people on a forum think Islam is a danger, does not mean we should ban islam. Also, it is a non issue, because i would say less than 10 % of americans agree with any of you guys, no one would allow Islam to be banned. there is no traction in govt for it
