in response to reader comment: be selective

hi Susan I agree that most people are center or right of center, but I find that I have to talk to them long enough to let them understand that, as you know, so many people have been programmed to believe that they should want peace at all cost, that they see any contrary points as intolerant warmongering. what the peaceniks don't understand is that some battles have to be fought because your opponent has chosen to attack, and doesn't care if you fight back.

Your dissection of the Palestinian issue was brutally insightful and detailed. the left would like to erase and re-write history. I'm not Jewish so I don't have a dog in this fight but, why does everyone want to constantly speak of middle east peace when no one will speak to the men with the guns? one can broker all the peace deals possible, but unless the guys with the guns are negotiated with [which is impossible because they want to push Israel into the sea] or killed, there cannot be any deals.

the gun men see the politicians as false power brokers but the west will not, and should not, talk to terrorists. it only encourages more subterfuge and let's face the facts. those in the know have understood for a long time that Israel has 300 nuclear weapons some on three submarines in the Mediterranean and possibly elsewhere , which could rise out of the water after Israel is attacked and attack all enemy targets in range. they have the rest on land based missiles and a number are suspected to be gravity bombs, that would be releases from the belly of the Israeli f-16. so Israel cannot be pushed into the sea . the Israeli prime minister let it "accidentally" be known that Israel has teeth and will use them if provoked .

I like the company of like thinkers too , but we have to try to convince ,through higher discourse , all we can to our side. but you are right , the left true believers cannot be convinced . but isn't it interesting how lately the left has learned to "play" the right , they will pick a weak member of the opposition and co-opt that person to back-up their position e.g. " even republican senitor or concressman X agrees with us .

That's how they won the last election, because republicans didn't hold the line and ran scared from leftie guns. president Bush needs to understand that to listen to political advisors only gets him in trouble, because political advisors just want to win and aren't interested in what the people think. they believe that if they could keep the special interest donations coming in ,they could ,through the power of advertising ,convince the people believe whatever they tell them to believe.

the only time I remember when the left stopped backstabbing their motherland the USA was during and for a short time after 911. too bad it took a national disaster to get them to put down their Hitler youth knives long enough for America to rise up and fight back , makes me mad .

Susan, God bless
