Reader comment on item: How to End Terrorism:
in response to reader comment: prejudice

The notion that prejudice is some how a universally bad thing depends on the context of the prejudice. For example, I prejudge Nazis and those who defend National Socialism, as practiced by the Nazi's. Am I to feel guilty because my experience and infromation tells me that all Nazis do not tolerate Jews, will kill those that resist them, and are against individual freedom and liberty, and advocate for the forced collective of citizens.

So it is with Muhammedians ( Muslims of all types). I have prejudged that all Muslims adhere to the teachings and actions of Muhammed, the prophet of islam. I have judged that Muhammed was a tyrant and despot. Thats my judgement, right or wrong. I have also judged that Marx was a fraud and inspired the death and misery of millions, and I have prejudged that those who choose to follow Mr Marx's teachings are likely to be as despotic given the chance. So it is with Islam and Muslims. Everyone has the right to follow any belief they wish, but we are free to form opinions and "Prejudge" the behavior and attitudes of those who follow Muhammed, the profit of the most intolerant religion. What is unacceptable is to prejudge based on factors not of the persons choosing. Race, color, or handicap, physical traits, genetically determined factors. But in matters of choice, I reserve my right to prejudge Nazis, communists, facists, KKK, and Muslims.
